Description

The Newborn Package contains the following products. These products are what you need for your newborn child to give it a good diaper start.

WeeCare Soft

This diaper does not have a waterproof layer build in, which is why you will need some kind of diaper cover to prevent leaks. In other words, it is not waterproof in itself and we therefore recommend (homemade) knitted wool diaper pants that have gone through a lanolin treatment in order to become water repellent.

Perfect for newborns

The bamboo diaper is made of extremely soft bamboo velour (and yes it is wonderful to touch). It also has a pocket built inside, where you can place the insert. This means that it is only the soft bamboo velour that will be touching the baby’s skin — no edges from the insert. Simply put: our diaper is pure luxury for your newborn baby, and many choose to use size small for newborns.

Along with the diaper comes an absorbent insert which is made of bamboo and organic cotton. This fabric is a bit thicker and absorbs really well. The insert consists of 4 layers of fabric with an opening in the middle for the sake of reducing the drying time.

Nighttime diaper

WeeCare Soft is also a good option for a nighttime diaper solution. Because the pocket in it is big enough to have more inserts, so that the diaper can “hold” an entire night. You can, for example, add two extra hemp boosters together with the insert or add one prefold as an extra insert. Remember to make/get a wool cover that contains the liquid inside the diaper (or a different kind of cover)!
