Dry and cracked skin
WeeCare Lanolin Ointment is protective on the exposed skin, and it also applies to skin that has a hard time in the cold of winter and especially frosty weather. Cold and frost can be really harsh for the skin and can make the skin both dry and cracked.
These areas can be particularly vulnerable in the winter cold:
WeeCare Lanolin Ointment is applied to the exposed area before leaving into the cold. The beeswax in the ointment provides a protective barrier on the skin, and the ointment contains no water, which can cause skin frostbite. WeeCare Lanolinsalve is also moisturizing, which helps the skin regain balance. If there are small cracks in the skin, WeeCare Lanolin Ointment will also help the healing process.
Besides applying the ointment before going out in the cold, it can also be an advantage to apply the ointment just before bedtime – so it can work with the skin all night. If you apply a good layer to your hands, it may be beneficial to sleep with a pair of thin cotton gloves so that the ointment remains in contact with the skin and so you do not have oily ointment throughout the bed.
