Dry and cracked skin

WeeCare Lanolin Ointment is protective on the exposed skin, including skin that has a hard time in the winter cold and especially in the frosty weather. As you know, cold and frost can be really harsh for the skin and can make the skin both dry and cracked.

These 3 areas can be particularly vulnerable in the winter cold:
    — Hands
    — Lips
    — Cheeks (on children that sleeps outside)

WeeCare Lanolin Ointment is applied to the exposed areas before going outside. Then the beeswax in the ointment will provide a protective barrier on the skin; the ointment also contains no water which can cause skin frostbites. The ointment is also moisturizing, thereby helping the skin to regain balance. And if small cracks on the skin already have developed then our ointment will also help with speeding up the healing process.

Besides applying the ointment before going out in the cold, it can also be a good idea to apply the ointment just before bedtime — so it can help the skin all the night.

If you apply a good layer to your hands, it may be beneficial to sleep with a pair of thin cotton gloves so that the ointment stays in contact with the skin and so that you do not have oily ointment all over the bed 🙂
